Why I'm Standing
A civil engineer by training, with a Master's degree from Imperial College London, I began my career in civil engineering before founding and leading a successful property business. Established in London, the business now operates both in the UK and internationally.
My office in Guildhall Yard sits close to the Ward, which I walk through daily. I have come to know it well, and I am standing as an independent candidate to represent you on the Court of Common Council.
I bring practical experience, sound judgement, and a clear sense of responsibility to the role. I will support the Alderman of the Ward, work alongside fellow Councillors, and listen to the firms and people of Coleman Street, whatever their size or background.
At a time of global uncertainty, increasing cyber risk, and rapid technological change, the Ward needs an effective, informed, and engaged voice. I would welcome the opportunity to be that voice.
My Manifesto
What I will work on, how I will work, and how to reach me.
My Approach
Independent and informed
I am standing as an independent candidate. My judgement will be guided by what is best for the Ward, the Corporation, and the City, not by party affiliation or pre-formed positions.
Independence is more than a label. It means listening before deciding, doing the homework before taking a view, and being willing to challenge the Corporation, and colleagues, where challenge is warranted while supporting it in areas where it is doing well. It also means being open to changing my mind when the evidence calls for it.
Accessible and accountable
A Councillor's first duty is to the people they represent. I will be visible, reachable, and open to challenge.
I will hold monthly surgeries in the Ward, run regular SME Forums and Business Leaders Lunches, and establish a Future Leaders group to bring young professionals into the conversation. Each year I will publish a written update on what I have worked on, what has been achieved, and what remains outstanding. Voters deserve to know whether their Councillor has earned their continued support.
